Facebook removes the “Suggest to Friends” button

Bad move, Facebook. Last week, Facebook decided do disable the "Suggest to Friends" button from all pages and profiles except admin accounts. According to AllFacebook.com, "… the most likely reason for this change was that page administrators were typically the only people likely to use the tool. This also prevents page administrators from encouraging fans to share their page with others."

Picture 2Our Brandcasters used this tool quite frequently, and we often pushed our fans to use it in order to spread awareness of our clients' fanpages. It was a very useful feature that will, hopefully, return soon.

What do you guys think about Facebook's removal of the "Suggest to Friends" button?

I think the move was highly unfair and foolish. I have a couple of pages that I administrate, one of my own and another for a political party which has just been formed. This has been an extremely unfair move!!!!!
